Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer at ServiceNow, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing High-Quality Code: Write clean, scalable, and reusable code by adhering to best practices in software engineering, including code reviews and unit testing.
- Collaborating with Product Owners: Understand detailed requirements and take ownership of your code from design to implementation, test automation, and delivery.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming: 2-5 years of experience with Java or a similar object-oriented language.
- Passion for Web Development: A strong interest in JavaScript and the web as a platform, focusing on reusability and componentization.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and considerations for performance and scalability.
- UI Framework Experience: Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Analytical and Design Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and design thinking.
- Tool Proficiency: Working knowledge of tools to assist with daily tasks, including IDEs, debuggers, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, and system administration/Unix tools.
