Educational Qualifications
To be eligible for the post of Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’, candidates must have:
- A BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 65% marks or CGPA of 6.84 on a 10-point scale.
- A valid GATE score in the respective paper:
- Electronics (EC)
- Mechanical (ME)
- Computer Science (CS)
Note: Final-year students can apply if they meet eligibility at the time of document verification.
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 28 years as on 19 May 2025
- Relaxation: Available for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen and Government employees as per norms.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview in a 1:7 ratio based on their valid GATE score (2024 or 2025).
Final selection weightage:
- GATE Score: 50%
- Interview Performance: 50%
Candidates must secure a minimum of 60 marks in the interview (50 marks for PwBD candidates).
