About the Role
The Host Networking team at Meta manages millions of NICs across the global infrastructure that powers all Meta services—such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. As a Software Engineer - Host Networking, you’ll work on NICs and transport solutions tailored for Meta’s AI accelerators. This is your chance to contribute to the foundation of next-gen computing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement drivers (and/or firmware) for Ethernet adapter functions and transport stack (RDMA).
- Build and maintain integrated CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
- Perform bring-up in simulation and emulation environments.
- Conduct hardware bring-up and testing in large-scale deployments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in C/C++/Python
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with Linux Kernel, particularly drivers and networking stack
- Knowledge of transport stack, especially RDMA (RoCEv2)
- Hands-on experience debugging large-scale systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Qemu and FPGA Emulation environments is a plus
