Job Description
Job Purpose:
This position is open with Bajaj Finance Limited. The Branch Manager holds full responsibility for leading the team to grow the Consumer Gold Loan business and client base. The role focuses on customer loyalty, business strategy, and operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall branch operations, performance & profitability
- Drive and participate in field-marketing activities for financial products
- Plan and monitor branch & field-level marketing to ensure lead generation
- Engage new and existing customers for business growth
- Ensure error-free valuation of gold ornaments as per company policy
- Maintain safekeeping of pledged securities (Joint vault custodian)
- Control NPAs through strong customer follow-ups
- Hire, coach, and mentor team members
- Maintain quality standards, performance reports, and act on business growth insights
- Increase gold loan business and promote other products like NCDs, gold coins, etc.
- Ensure 100% compliance with valuation and company policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- 4-7 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s or Postgraduate Degree preferred
- Experience in gold loan banking or client service is advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
