Vacancy Details

AEE (Civil) – 580 Posts

23 posts are reserved for PWD candidates; 6 posts for Sports Persons.

AEE (Mechanical) – 41 Posts

2 posts reserved for PWD candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) from a recognized university OR
• Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) in Civil/Mechanical.
• Must have a valid GATE score in the relevant engineering subject.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2023):

• 21 to 38 years
• Relaxations:
  • SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
  • PwD candidates: 10–15 years

Other Requirements:

• Must be an Indian citizen.
• Should be able to read, write, and speak Odia.
• Candidates currently serving must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

Selection Process

• GATE Score – 90% weightage
• Interview – 10% weightage
• Final Merit List will be prepared accordingly.
• Medical Examination is mandatory before final appointment.

• Last Date to Update GATE Score: May 8, 2025
• Interview Dates (For earlier applicants):
  • Mechanical: July 9–10, 2024
  • Civil: July 16–30, 2024

• Pay Level-12 under ORSP Rules, 2017
• Along with standard DA and other government allowances
• Probation Period: 2 years
